This NURBS (non-uniform rational b-spline) model is the first character I ever modeled and built a full IK-rig for, from scratch. It had hip controllers to create realistic weight redistribution as the character moved, as well as mathematical expressions to control motion such as foot roll, and to make sure the character's foot never passed through the ground plane. A simple exercise, but fun. I also had a good time getting the metallic character of the Strauss shader just right.
