I was tasked with creating a 2008 Desk Calendar. Something small enough to fit nicely in a cubicle and yet large enough to promote International Medical Corp's worldwide activities in an elegant fashion. These were given out as gifts to donors who helped in our humanitarian efforts to advance the goals of poverty reduction, health, and sustainable development.
International Medical Corps is doubly blessed to have a number of talented photographers who serve as aid workers on staff, as well as professional photographers such as Colin Finlay, who volunteer to travel to these conflict areas to document the challenges and successes of this NGO work. One of the things I did while helping this organization was to streamline their catalog of 20 years worth of digitized photography assets, freeing up database space for the entire organization.
