International Medical Corps is non-governmental organization works to not only save lives throughout the world through it's relief efforts, but also seeks to improve quality of life and increase economic opportunity in underserved and impoverished communities. As an organization it often stays in an effected region long after other aid organizations have left, building local capacity, and making positive, lasting changes through it's dynamic programs.
On this particular website, I did not have a site-wide design role (there are colors used that I personally wouldn't choose, fonts that I'd explicitly avoid given my druthers, etc.), but rather my team and I maintained the site with regular international news updates, and designed imagery and edited videos for the site using both the corporate CMS, and standard web programming & video editing utilities.
