This was a UWTV microsite used for a corporate scholarship program developed by Costco in conjuction with the University of Washington to financially assist low income students of color who had demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. This project involved promoting an annual fundraising event with guest speakers Sidney Poitier and Seattle Mayor Norm Rice, and involved corresponding brochures, CD's, and a web site to encourage donations and support from the public. The promotional campaign explained the mission of the scholarship, highlighted past award-winner's achievements and the challenges they overcame to obtain their education, and elaborated on the advantages inclusiveness and diversity brought to the entire student body in the university experience.
