I produced this trifold for International Medical Corps staff to hand-out to the public at our World Water Day event in Santa Monica, California. It involved a community hike wherein participants would carry 5 gallon canisters of water to show them the struggles of others worldwide who must often travel as far as 5 miles every day on foot just to retrieve clean water. The attempt is to inform, and create empathy with this problem that effects over 1 bllion people, in the hopes that this will motivate them to donate time, political outreach, or funds towards solving the problem.
Regrettably, this is a problem which not only continues unabatted until today, but it has been further exacerbated via man-made climate change. As my work goes, I often find that passion projects like this continue to not only have resonance over time, but are usually the pieces of work I'm most proud of, no matter how small.
