This data science application interface was designed by me as a part of a B2B deal with one of my primary clients. The software performs data analytics for the major studios using artificial intelligence algorithms to predict movie profitability.
While the backend is "run by robots", the owners wanted a human touch for the frontend that translated the numbers into attractive displays that spoke to artists, executives, and accountants. Fundamentally, I often serve as a bridge between technicians and non-technical people, possessing the ability to translate both community's needs to the other. I can take a napkin sketch and produce a full-blown, pixel-accurate design that supports your brand, faster than most people can iterate a first draft on supposed helper applications like UXPin or Balsamiq.
For this app I developed dark and light themes for the interface skin, as well as usage processes that clarified the story of the data for the user. I also sought to combine metrics with contextual information about the movie property itself.
